Placement Exams

ISEE Placement Test

  • All students applying for admission to grade 9 are required to take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE).
    Applicants must register for the exam online by visiting the ISEE website (www.iseetest.org) or by calling (800) 446-0320.

    The exam fee is $89 if registering online, and $100 if registering by phone. Families requiring financial assistance with
    the exam fee, or who need help with the online exam registration process, should contact AMHS for more information.
    Walk-in registrations are accepted at some locations on the day of the exam. Please check the ISEE website for more
    information. There is a walk in fee of $30 in addition to the exam fee.

 Math/Science Placement Test
  • All incoming freshmen are required to take the AMHS math/science placement exam.
