Planned Giving is a vehicle through which you have an opportunity to contribute to Archbishop Murphy High School in a manner that is meaningful to the school while preserving financial security for you and your loved ones. How does Planned Giving work? You can provide a planned gift to Archbishop Murphy High School by leaving a bequest in your will. It is as simple as that. You will certainly want to talk to your attorney or financial planner, but the process is very straightforward.	Why make a Planned Gift? What are the advantages? Every estate is subject to tax. By making a bequest to Archbishop Murphy High School in your will you reduce the amount of your estate that is subject to that tax. A Planned Gift makes you a member of The Wildcat Legacy Society In 2009, a friend of Archbishop Murphy High School passed away and left the school a special bequest. We had no idea that this special gift had been planned, and, of course, it was too late to thank the donor. The Wildcat Legacy Society is our way of saying thank you in advance and recognizing those who have made a similar bequest to Archbishop Murphy High School. Wildcat Legacy Society Members are passionate supporters of Archbishop Murphy High School and Catholic education who wish to see the Mission of our school live on well into the future. Their bequests provide a living memorial and tribute to both their generosity and their concern for all we do at Archbishop Murphy High School and all we stand for. In addition to the tax benefits of their planned gifts, Wildcat Legacy Society Members receive special recognition. They will receive a special membership certificate, recognition on the school’s website, and in the Annual Report and other Archbishop Murphy High School publications. The continuing growth and achievement of Archbishop Murphy High School is in no small part due to the history of support that the school has received since its earliest days. Individuals who contribute funds and other assets to AMHS have made a critical difference over the years. They have seen the vision that was only a dream become, over time, the thriving reality that the school is today.
