Apply & register

AMHS is a Catholic, college preparatory school that welcomes student of all faiths. The materials you will submit to be considered for admission to AMHS are explained below.  If your family has already applied and been admitted to AMHS or you are a current student, please click here to complete the registration paperwork including the contract.  You will use the same login as you did during the admissions process.

Application Process

step 1: complete the application form

If you are a incoming freshman or transfer student please create an account and start the application form by clicking here. If you need a paper application please click here.

step 2: Submit Teacher recommendation form

Please give this form to a teacher to complete.  They should send it to Archbishop Murphy High School (email, fax, or mail is acceptable).

step 3: submit school report/ transcript request form

Please give this form to the main office of your current school.  They should send it to Archbishop Murphy High School (email, fax, or mail is acceptable).

step 4: sign up for the entrance exam

Please sign up for the AMHS Entrance Exam one month prior to the test date.  All incoming freshman students are required to take this two hour test. The cost of this test is $15. AMHS will also accept the results of the ISEE and HSPT (High Schools Placement Test) given by other schools in the Archdiocese. 

STEP 5: Submit application fee

The Application Fee can be paid online or by mailing a check to AMHS ($30).

Registration Process

Those who are offered admission will be invited to complete the registration process.

Step 1: complete the enrollment deposit

Log into your account by clicking here and using your code (which you will find in your email). The fee can be paid by check or online here

Step 2: Complete Course Forecasting

Families will receive an invite to Course Forecasting evening where they will schedule classes. 

step 3: Take the placement exam

Check your email for the date you are invited to our campus for the placement exam.

Step 4: Complete your attending forms

These forms include the handbook sign off, emergency form etc. These forms can be completed on your account.
