Mock Trial Places 3rd in State 03/28/11

The Archbishop Murphy Mock Trial Team finished 3rd in the State Championship Meet the weekend of March 25. This is the highest finish for AMHS in the 22-team meet, which is held in Olympia every year. The team finished with a 3-1 record, winning 10 out of 12 ballots in its 4 trials. Outstanding witness nominations went to Stephen Oswald, Dan Harris, and Kennan Mighell. Outstanding attorney nominations went to Amy Purdy, Annie Dang, Brandon Alfond, and Jonathan Lucas. Other team members included Collin Daviscourt, Jake Dini, Meghan Nelson, Adam Sundholm, Nick DeVoll, Sarah Colombo, Alex Langlois, and Tiernan Dwyer. The team is coached by Roger Brodniak and assistants Margy Ames, Kevin Harris, Susan Bolles, Lisa Paul, Laura Twitchell, David Ballew, J. Leach, and Debby Lunceford.
