Return to Campus Plan
DAILY IN-PERSON LEARNING STARTING MARCH 1ST
We have decided to move forward with opening the campus for daily in-person learning starting Monday, March 1st - April 2nd.
COVID PAGE OVERVIEW
Archbishop Murphy High School is tracking news and information about the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in our region. The safety and well-being of all members of the AMHS community continues to be our highest priority. This is a quickly evolving situation; please check this page for updates.
We are prepared to welcome all students back to campus safely. Throughout the year, we will remain flexible, collaborative, and committed to a growth and learning mindset as we adapt to circumstances that will be beyond our control.
Our continued prayer is for the health and safety of the entire AMHS community.
- What is the daily in-person learning decision based on?
- What if students are signed-up for in-person instruction and have a day(s) that they are unable to come into campus?
- How will in-person learning work in larger classes?
- What if our plans have changed and/or we did not sign-up for either in-person or remote learning?
- What should students do before they arrive on campus?
- What if students receive an "access denied" message when completing the screener?
- What should students wear to school?
- What should I bring to school if I'm planning to be on-campus?
- What should students do when they arrive?
- Where should they go upon arrival?
- What will the end of the day look like?
- Is there an option for after school supervision?
- Is there bus service?
- Can students continue to work remotely?

- In response to student and parent/guardian outreach, we are making two significant updates:
- Week of November 17:
- Athletic Department Update: With the new restrictions Governor Inslee released yesterday, coaches will no longer be permitted to have any type of indoor workouts/practices; therefore, we will have to cancel all indoor practice sessions. These restrictions will take effect today at 11:59pm and go through December 14th. All practices scheduled for today, November 16th, will continue as planned.
- Hybrid Model — Starting January 4th:
Given our success with the transition to the Hybrid Model thus far, we will be increasing the frequency and number of students on campus:- Cohort Group 1 last names A-K
- Cohort Group 2 last names L-Z
- Daily in-person learning — Starting March 1:
As you are aware, we have been asking families to commit to in-person or remote learning for the period from March 1st - April 2nd. As a result of your responses, we have decided to move forward with opening the campus for daily in-person learning starting Monday, March 1st - April 2nd.
SCREENING PROCESS
AMHS will be using JotForm for COVID-19 tracking for all individuals accessing campus. After completion of screening questions, the individual will receive an access pass valid for that day only.
Students will present this access pass to the teacher or office member. Students may complete this survey on their desktop and print a copy from home. Students may also complete the survey from the phone's web browser and show the access pass to the teacher/faculty member at the screening location.
