International Admissions

If you're seeking an American high school that provides the technology, guidance, advanced curriculum and cultural support that prepares international students to matriculate to and thrive at an American university, AMHS is the school for you.

All international inquiries go through The Cambridge Institute.

Students applying for international admission work exclusively with the Cambridge Institute for admission to AMHS. If you would like to learn more about the AMHS International Student Program or begin the application process please fill out the information HERE, and contact The Cambridge Institute for more information.

Archbishop Murphy High School honors the diversity that enriches our school community and the world beyond by accepting highly qualified International Students. Students from China, South Korea, and countries in Europe currently attend AMHS.

Students applying from China, Vietnam or Korea work exclusively with the Cambridge Institute for admission to AMHS. If you would like to learn more about AMHS International Student Program admissions or begin the application process please fill out the information HERE. Please contact The Cambridge Institute for more information.

I-20 forms are issued only to those students who have been offered admission to AMHS. All international students will pay full tuition and fulfill all other financial obligations.

If you are a loving family with a spare room available in your home consider inviting an international student to stay with you this year during his or her high school experience in the U.S. at AMHS.

Participating families need to live within a 40-minute commute to and from the school, speak English at home, and ensure that the student eats three nutritious meals per day. Being able to involve the student in family events and activities is a big plus. Families will be compensated for hosting a student.

AMHS is working with the homestay service company, GP Homestay. GP will provide a dedicated support staff, host family training and 24-7 emergency support throughout the school year, as well as regular group activities to share with other participating families.

Those wishing to take advantage of this unique opportunity to make a difference in a young person’s life by filling out the Host Family Inquiry Form.
