Dear family and friends of AMHS,

Our faculty and staff are excited to begin school this August and welcome all of our students and parents back to campus. We look forward to holding our November 19th, 2021 DREAM auction in person this year along with a virtual component and online auction. The in-person auction will take place at the Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett and include a dinner program, a wide array of live items and select silent items. Those attending virtually will be able to bid on the live items, the online items, and support the Fund a Need.

The Fund a Need this year will focus on our goal of launching new opportunities for experiential learning at AMHS, including dedicated innovation and design workspaces on campus for project-based learning. These plans include the construction of a multi-use facility that will function as a woodworking studio and fabrication lab, where students can put artistic, engineering, and design principles into action. Through hands-on opportunities to imagine and to create, students will gain broader exposure to future academic and career paths, while developing critical thinking and problem solving skills.

We are asking for meaningful donations of any kind for our silent and live auctions. We welcome gift cards, tangible items or one of kind adventures. Gift certificates must be valid for one year from the date of the event. Our current families can count the value of their donation to the auction towards their parent service hour requirement (20 hours valued at $20 per hour=$400).

For those of you interested in being an auction sponsor, the DREAM Auction celebration offers your business a unique opportunity to support the community and receive exposure from a large and engaged group of consumers. Your support will not only help us continue to provide an outstanding education for our students, it provides your business with marketing exposure to the hundreds of in-person and virtual attendees and the families of AMHS. Archbishop Murphy High School is a college preparatory high school in Everett, Washington with students in 9th – 12th grade and serves families from the surrounding communities of Mill Creek, Seattle, Bothell, Edmonds, Woodinville, Lynnwood, Kenmore, Kirkland, Monroe, Marysville, Stanwood, Snohomish, Mukilteo and Whidbey Island.

Your contribution makes a tremendous difference in the quality of our students’ education as the DREAM Auction helps fund the school’s educational and co-curricular programs. Archbishop Murphy High School currently has a 100% graduation rate and 100% college acceptance rate – the highest in Snohomish County. Our families appreciate the support of businesses like yours. In return for your corporate stewardship, your company will be featured in our DREAM Auction newsletters, on our school website with links to your company website, and in print in the Auction catalog. The donation deadline for the event is November 1, 2021.

An auction donation/procurement form and return envelope are enclosed. Archbishop Murphy is IRS status 501 (c)(3) and the determination letter confirming status can be submitted if requested.
