Our Mission

Archbishop Thomas J. Murphy High School is a private Catholic, college preparatory school that welcomes students of all faiths. True to the spirit of the gospel, Archbishop Murphy nurtures the full development of the gifts that God has given to each student, fosters service as an outgrowth of faith, and values diversity. Working with parents as partners in the educational ministry, we strive for academic excellence, spiritual enrichment, and Christlike leadership for the transformation of the world.

Archbishop Murphy High School is proud to celebrate Abe Lucas ’17, who helped lead the Seattle Seahawks to an NFC Championship victory last night, officially punching his ticket to the Super Bowl!

Abe’s journey makes this moment especially meaningful for the AMHS community. A key part of Archbishop Murphy’s 2016 state championship team, Abe helped deliver a title that stood as the program’s most recent until the 2025 season. Now, he becomes the first AMHS NFL alum since Shiloh Keo ’06, a Super Bowl 50 champion with the Denver Broncos, to reach the Super Bowl.

From championship nights in Everett to the bright lights of the Super Bowl, Abe continues to represent the Murphy Way with toughness, humility, and excellence. We couldn’t be more proud of you, Abe—the entire Wildcat community is cheering you on!
