When is the application deadline for 2024-25?

Our priority deadline is January 7th, 2025.

We will continue to accept applications after that date until our class is full.

What are the steps to complete my application?

STEP 1: Complete the application form. Including the additional essay prompt.

STEP 2: Submit the application fee.

STEP 3: Submit the teacher recommendation form. Please give this form to a teacher to complete. You can send online via our admissions software.

STEP 4: Submit school report/transcript request form. Please give this form to the main office of your current school. You can send online via our admissions software.

How are admissions decisions made?

Our Admissions Committee consists of admissions team members, faculty members and school administrators who review applications and collaborate on the admission decisions.

What is our current enrollment for 2024-25?

We have 435 students enrolled for the 2024-25 school year.

Are visit days available for prospective students?

Yes! Shadow days are back! You can sign up online via the Visit Us page.

Do you admit international students?

Yes! Students applying for international admission should visit our International Admissions page and apply online.

Do you provide a bus service?

Yes, we offer a North bus route, South bus route, and Whidbey Island Ferry/Mukilteo route for families, however do not offer a traditional bus service. Click here to learn more.

If my student receives a merit award or tuition award the first year can that change in subsequent years?

AMHS offers merit awards that are good for 4 years as long as the student remains in good academic standing.

Tuition assistance must be applied for every school year, and the amount may change.

How do I apply for tuition assistance?

AMHS utilizes Clarity to manage our tuition assistance applications. You can start that process here. You will need your tax records to complete the application.

Is my financial aid application confidential?

Yes. All financial information and awards are kept in strict confidence. Additionally, we do not share your information.

What is the process for siblings and legacy families?

All applicants to AMHS apply through the same application process and with the same application deadlines. All applicants are considered through a holistic review process. Sibling and legacy benefits from related applicants are considered only after academic and non-cognitive factors have been taken into consideration.
