Bob & Jane Braukus Endowment

BOB AND JANE’S STORY

Bob and Jane Braukus met in the 6th grade at Our Lady of Lourdes Academy in Wallace, Idaho. They were married for 50 years and raised their children, Susan and Greg, with a Catholic education. They lived their lives in the STEM fields as an electrical engineer and a lab technician. Bob and Jane shared their time, talent, and donations with many community organizations. Their regular demonstrations of kindness, joy, love, integrity, generosity, strength, mentorship, and philosophy are sorely missed.

Susan Braukus Hempstead, Nate Hempstead (’21), and Hannah Hempstead established the Bob and Jane Braukus Endowment to continue Bob and Jane’s legacy of service and commitment to Catholic education. They were involved grandparents on the AMHS campus supporting band, liturgy, assembly programming (including Veterans Day and the Christmas concert) and STEM.
