Mark’s STORY
Mark Overholt was a proud four-sport athlete at Cascade High School who stood out for his leadership, strong work ethic, humility, and sportsmanship. Whether on the field, court, or in the classroom, Mark led by example—uplifting teammates, encouraging excellence, and fostering a strong sense of camaraderie wherever he went. He received many awards including most inspirational and team captain. Mark continued his athletic journey playing collegiate baseball at Edmonds Community College, the University of Washington, and the University of Puget Sound, where he earned a degree in Business. Tragically, Mark’s life was cut short in an automobile accident in 1991. To honor his legacy and keep his memory alive, Mark’s family raises scholarship funds through the support of friends, family, and generous sponsors who participate in a golf tournament fundraiser.
